Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant with some highlights and drawbacks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit a bit cold in the winter. Having a private bath was a nice touch, but there was a lingering smell of smoke that was a bit off-putting. The mountain view from the room was absolutely stunning. The service was efficient and courteous, despite the need for more English-speaking staff for better communication. The location was convenient, being close to Kogen and just a short ride on the shuttle bus to Naspa and Gala. The serene surroundings allowed me to truly experience the peacefulness of local Japan. The dining experience, although offering limited vegetarian or western options, was surprisingly good with a beautiful view of a frozen waterfall in the great dining room. Overall, the facilities were adequate, though some areas could use improvement. The price was reasonable, considering the value for money provided.
